Steve Prophet, Prophet Solutions, Inc.

Steve Prophet is founder of Prophet Solutions, Inc.; a Carlsbad based Development and Consulting Company serving private and public entities throughout California.  He is a California Licensed General Contractor and has excelled as a construction leader for three decades.

Over the last 30 years, Mr. Prophet has gained hands-on knowledge and valuable insight in all aspects of the construction industry as he rose through the ranks from carpenter, to field superintendent, and on to become the founder and COO of a former ENR (Engineering News Record) Top 400 Construction Company.

Under Mr. Prophet’s direction, he has delivered over $2 Billion in construction projects throughout California, focusing on multiple private sectors and municipal markets.  His portfolio of work is diverse, including multi-family dwellings, mid-rise and multi story, custom residential, structural concrete, places of worship, retail, emergency services, civic center, library, FAA/Airport, parks & recreation, aquatic centers, K-12 public schools and higher education.

Mr. Prophet brings extensive experience and a thorough understanding of the various methods of delivery available in the construction marketplace, including Design-Build, Construction Management, Lease- Lease Back, and General Contracting.  He holds a California Contractor’s License with, A, General Engineering, B, General Building, and C-8, Concrete classifications.

Tough, focused and direct, Mr. Prophet is a determined strategist. He is naturally able to look through the incidental and takes action on the critical.  From complex scheduling to quality control and from pre-construction to close-out, Mr. Prophet’s out-of-the-box vision and problem solving ability enables him to clearly interpret key components of construction related issues and convey necessary decisions.
